Happy Belated Thanksgiving, everyone!

Thanksgiving was a pretty quiet day for me out here in Cali yesterday. I like to try and stay as busy I can on holidays like Thanksgiving so I can keep my mind off of missing home / being homesick.

I traveled to the movie theater to see Disney's "Tangled" and it was very well done. Just a really fun, cute Disney movie that put a smile on my face. I think my favorite marketing piece for the movie was something that Disney Animation released on YouTube not long ago. I know some of the masterminds behind this. It's pretty funny.

In other news, I'm catching up more and more with Red Cross things. I'm trying to stay as busy as possible despite this being their slow time of the year. It's also good to stay busy considering the fact that I'm going to be having guests and going home all in the next month.

Lastly, I was talking to some friends lately and I was encouraged to start working on a new project. (I know, I know...as if I didn't have enough already, right?) This one has to do with when Anthony and I traveled to Australia. More details and thoughts to come soon, but I'm just throwing the idea out now so I don't forget to talk about it later :)

Greetings, everyone! It's been a while. There's lots of updates to talk about, so let's get to it!

That's a Wrap! I am officially wrapped after working on another incredible seasons of America's Next Top Model. I had the best crew anybody could ask for. The guys all got together and surprised me on the last day with a Best Buy gift card, which was really nice. I

made a lot of great friends and connections on the show this season, and I look forward to working with all these great people again in the near future.

I started a new blog! After a ton of encouragement from friends, I have decided to start a blog that is dedicated to Movie and TV Reviews. You can visit the new blog here: http://kylecolsonsreviews.blogspot.com/

I'm writing (and finishing) scripts! For a while, one of my big goals was to start writing (and finishing...that's the hard part) scripts for different production ideas that are floating in my head. I just finished my fourth script in 2 days, and I am still going strong. It feels so good to accomplish these, because now I can move onto the next phase: bringing the scripts to life.

It may sound funny, but this season of Top Model has truly given me the m

otivation (through working on a great TV show and talking with the friends I've met) to start writing, directing, producing, and shooting stuff. I've finally reached the point at which I feel confident about shooting a movie out here. Until now, I've always resorted to shooting back in Milwaukee because that's what's safe and where I have my connections. Now, I feel as if I could start to make progress and pull things off with my connections in Hollywood. Sure, it's not quite like Milwaukee, but it's a huge step in the right direction and I'm really proud of myself for taking it.

Time is FLYING! It's Thanksgiving this week! Next week, my parents come to visit! Shortly after, I'll be flying home for the holidays...and before I know it, I'll be back out in California and Sara will be coming out again to enjoy the New Year with me as I help her continue pushing her career. Crazy!

Hollywood Christmas Parade! The Hollywood Christmas Parade is coming up this Sunday, and I am planning on going! I've gone the last two years and it's been a good time. After the parade, I'll be sure to post pictures and updates!

I have been SWAMPED and CRAZY busy the last few weeks working in TV Land. After this week, things will calm down and I'll be able to post some new updates and news.

Hello Everybody!

Sorry for not updating more often. Things have been crazy lately working in TV land. That's a good thing...but it sucks for trying to keep up on everything else!

For this particular blog post, I don't have a whole lot of 'news' to share. Most of the experiences I have had lately are things I can't talk and blog about. I DO, however, have some pretty neat pictures...so I'll let them do all of the talking!






In other news, I'm excited for my birthday in less than a week! I'm looking forward to some good times with good friends :)
