Today marks the 25th anniversary of the “Back to the Future” trilogy and it was 2015 when Marty came back to Hill Valley to save his kids in “Back to the Future II” – so what has come true from those future predictions and what hasn’t?
TRUE:
- handless and wireless video games
- our obsession with 3D movies and sequels
- handheld tablet computers
- Florida baseball team
- Video conferencing
- wall-mounted widescreen televisions
- watching multiple channels at the same time
- being consumed with personal electronics
Not TRUE (yet):
- The Chicago Cubs winning the World Series (could still happen...I guess)
- Hoverboards (we are getting closer!)
- Female president (could still happen)
Pretty impressive predictions for a movie created 25 years ago!
In other news, I am EXTREMELY BUSY lately! I've been back to work with the best crew in television on the best show currently on the airwaves. It's been a wild ride so far, and we are just getting started.
Between working my current gig and some other gigs recently, I've been really lucky to meet some truly awesome people. Scott and Vicki are just two of those fine folks. Vicki and I actually had a chance to explore the city last night, which was pretty fun! :) We even found this AMAZING Italian restaurant that puts Olive Garden to shame! I'm looking forward to more fun with friends in the near future....with Halloween and my birthday around the corner, it's bound to be exciting :)
More updates to come soon! Stay tuned!

IMDB Profile!
Hey Everybody! Exciting news! I now have an IMDB profile. This may not seem like a big deal to most, but I'm pretty proud of this.
IMDB, for those that don't know, stands for Internet Movie Data Base. It's a website that stores information for every movie and TV show known to mankind. It's a pretty big deal to have an imdb profile, because people see that as 'real experience'. The only way you can get one is if someone official confirms you worked the show, you were in the credits, etc... It's challenging to get ANYTHING on IMDB because the submission process is very long and takes forever. I feel like I have to give up my first born just to have a few credits on my page. BUT! Nonetheless, it is here!

Today was one HECK of a day!
A very open transgender...
A sick Asian woman with a mask over her mouth who wouldn't stop sneezing...
A very old man who has a very dirty mind...
A lady who is missing her second A.A. meeting today...
An openly gay college student dressed in hot pink...
A former drill sergeant who still thinks he is on the job...
A lady who loves to cook and brought in homemade cookies to share with all...
and a aspiring film actor.
Here's the magic question: What do all of these people have in common?
Answer: They were all in my most recent community CPR Class at the Red Cross.
It was the Island of Misfit Toys...but the weird thing about it, is that it was one of the most hilarious and fun classes I've ever had. You would never see all these personalities under one roof, but today, we shared a lot of laughs together.
I'm off to go write a movie script....

Magic CPR
Today was a fun day! I had a chance to teach CPR to some of the great folks that work at The Magic Castle. It was a fantastic bunch of people and we all had a great time. They were all nice enough to extend me a welcome to visit the castle! Too cool!
In other news, Elliot and I recently traveled to the mall together. Take a look at a video we shot in the mall's new 'Hurricane Simulator'. (Warning: it's silly)
Also, just to recap: This week, I saw 3 new movies, attended preview night for the next big Broadway musical, directed a FlashMob at Universal, made news in Milwaukee for Milwaukee Girls (again!), taught folks at The Magic Castle some CPR, and did some improv with Wayne Brady. Successful week? I think so.

We are STILL making news!
It's hard to believe, but months after "Us Milwaukee Girls" was first posted on the internet, people are STILL buzzing about my camp's awesome music video!
Take a look at a clip that aired on October 7, 2010 on 'Real Milwaukee'. The show airs every morning on WITI FOX 6.
Special thanks to Katrina Cravy and the staff for giving us the heads up.
In other news, my photography classes have started! It's a more 'advanced' type of class that gives me more info as to the ins and outs of cameras and stuff. I'm really excited :) They are going very well. There was talk about an extra opportunity that we might be able to participate in, which takes place in San Fran early next year.
I am also very excited to report I'll be teaching a CPR Class tomorrow at the Magic Castle! :) More on this later!

Good News, Bad News
Bad News: I got a flat tire this evening right before heading down to Comedy Sportz.
Good News: Comedy Sportz was AMAZING!!! Wayne Brady and Greg Proops were both on the cast this evening, and I GOT TO DO IMPROV WITH THEM! It didn't really hit me until now. I was too caught up in all the excitement earlier (and also thinking about my flat tire). But now that I see the pictures and think back, it was truly incredible.
I got to play a really fun game with the whole cast, in which I was able to sneak some laughs in myself. I even got Wayne Brady to laugh pretty hard at one point when I was being silly :) It was a night I won't soon forget. I even have PICTURES!! Check them out!!!

Ashleigh Love: A Reflection
Exactly one year ago, my life changed forever. The lives of so many others did, as well. My best friend lost his sister, and I lost a good friend. I really can't believe it's been a year. It still seems so surreal. I miss you, Ashleigh. We all do. We will find the cowards that did this to you. Justice will be served. My thoughts and prayers with all of Ashleigh's friends and family today. I wish I could be with you guys...but know that I am there in spirit.

Flash Mob at Universal CityWalk!
Today, I had the chance to serve as Media Director for a Flash Mob held at Universal CityWalk for the American Red Cross. The goal of the Flash Mob was to raise awareness and spread the word about Disaster Preparedness.
Check out the video below! I am very proud of my entire crew for being an INCREDIBLE help!
Also, enjoy these pics below. Some taken by me, and some taken by others :)

Leap of Faith
Hello All!
Last night was a very exciting evening! Jessica and I went to check out the World Premiere of a new musical theater production called 'Leap of Faith'. The plot:
Basically, it's JUST like the Music Man -- but with a minister instead of a traveling salesman.
That being said, it was FANTASTIC! This show WILL be on Broadway within the next year. I'll bet every penny I have on it. The cast was fantastic, the songs were really catchy, and the tech stuff they pulled off in the show was mind blowing.
The best part of all, is that Jessica and I got to enjoy the show from Box Seats. :) "How much did you pay for those tickets?!", you may ask. Only $20 bucks a piece!
I'll be going back to see it again before it leaves town at the end of October! When it hits Broadway, be SURE to see this musical. It might just be my new favorite.

"When his traveling ministry breaks down in a small Kansas town, part-time reverend and full-time con artist (Raul Esparza) quickly pitches a tent and invites the locals to a revival. The sheriff is determined to stop Jonas from separating the townspeople from their money, but Jonas’ real challenge arises when he meets a pretty waitress (Shields) and her son, whose love forces an ultimate cynic to take a real leap of faith."
