Tonight was a very exciting night!
My friend Becky and I went to "Medieval Times" in Orange County tonight. For those that are unaware, Medieval Times is a dinner theater show in which you are transported back in time. It was a very fun event and Becky and I were stuffed full of food and memories by the end of the evening. Take a look at the pics!

Glee Writers in Hollywood!
Today was a very cool today! This evening, I had the chance to see the Glee Writers / Producers in Hollywood. They spoke in front of a small crowd about how they make Glee the show it has become! It was a VERY interesting evening and I really learned alot :)
Afterwards, I had the honor of meeting Executive Producer and Creator of Glee: Ryan Murphy!

NYFA Reunion
Exactly six years ago to the date, I went to a film camp in Orlando, Florida that changed my life. The camp (held by the New York Film Academy...or NYFA, for short) helped give me 'the bug' that really gave me a deep interest and passion in film. Furthermore, I might some incredible people that I am still proud to say I am in contact with still! Today, I had a chance to meet up with Libby (who happened to be in Los Angeles for a family wedding on this magical day). We had a great time catching up and chatting about life. Since our first time meeting six years ago at Disney, a lot has changed! Take a look below at some highlights.
Elliot Levitt
Elliot came to the NYFA Film Camp with a strong interest in editing. Flash forward to the present and Elliot is now in LA where he is still on the path to become a feature film editor. I am happy to say Elliot and I hang out all the time!
Abby Brown
Abby Brown came to NYFA with a passion to get into acting. Now, Abby still has an interest in acting and just graduated college. She is considering her options and plans to move forward with her acting career in New York or Los Angeles. Lucky for me (and Elliot!), Abby visits often in Los Angeles...so we get to see her alot!
Libby McIntire
Libby came to NYFA with a general interest and passion for entertainment. Now in college, Libby is studying to work in advertising!
I am still in contact with many others from the program, too...but sadly, I don't have recent photo updates from them because I have not seen them recently! Special shout out to David Wappel and Kelly Ort...who I will be seeing in Los Angeles in the next few months!
I'm crossing my fingers I'll be seeing other friends from NYFA soon, too!

Happy 4th of July!
Hello again! Looks like I'm on a roll right now with blog posts...hopefully I can keep it up!
Last night's fireworks show at the Hollywood Bowl was pretty cool! To be honest, I didn't know what I was walking into...but it was a very neat show. The first half was the LA Philharmonic performing patriotic songs. The second half was Grammy superstar Vince Gill. I'm not the biggest fan, but he shared some funny stories and made it a good time.
Then, at the end, there was a giant fireworks show! People from all over LA come to the Hollywood Bowl every 4th of July to see the show, and you can see why...they have the best fireworks in town!

That's A Wrap!
Hey Everybody!
Yikes...it's been a while since I updated this! This last month working in "TV Land" has been crazy, but I have enjoyed every second of it. It's officially over now, and I'm going to miss it quite a bit. I've made some great friends, and I look forward to working with them all again soon!
If you haven't already heard, I will be coming home for the last 2 weeks of July. I'm looking forward to offering my Entertainment Camp again, and of course, seeing friends and family. If you want to meet up with me when I'm home, make sure to send me an email or give me a buzz so I can make sure we find time to meet up!
In other news, my laptop is in need of an upgrade. I gotta think about what I want to do about that soon...
Lastly (and perhaps most exciting), I'll be heading to the Hollywood Bowl on the 4th of July to check out their Fireworks Spectacular! It should be a pretty good time, and I'm looking forward to getting some awesome pictures! More to come on that soon!
Enjoy this picture that a friend of mine photoshopped. It features me and many of my co-workers from the past month. Can you find me??
