As some of you may know, on Thursday evening I had the chance to attend the "High School Musical: Get In The Picture!" Season Finale in Pasedena, CA at the Civic Theatre. (For those of you wondering what that show is...it's a new reality show that Disney and ABC are producing that is somewhat like American Idol; where they are trying to find the next HSM family member). The series premiere was last Sunday, and the show is expected to be on air until October - when the finale premieres...around the same time *gasp* as High School Musical 3 is scheduled to be released.
This was my ticket for the show:
As you can see, I had a sweet seat in D-2.
I loaded into the house around 5:00, just as requested...and sat in the lovley seat waiting for the show to begin at 6:00. About 5 minutes before the show started, I noticed that the seat next to me, D-1, was still empty. As many of you can imagine, I get extremley happy - because I love stealing asile seats for the legroom.
Just as I was starting to think about stealing the seat, a huge roar of screaming comes from the back of the house. I look back, and Ashley Tisdale, one of the lead stars of HSM, was standing in the back of the house - walking twords the stage.
I thought to myself "oh, how cool...Ashley is here to support the kids tonight and watch the show....I wonder where she is sitting..."
I looked around the front of the stage...and there were NO empty seats....except D-1.
Sure enough...Ashley Tisdale walks right up and plops herself in D-1 and says "hey there!".
What I Wanted To Do: *screams* WOW! HI! HOLY CRAP!
What I DID: "Hello there! So nice to see you this evening! Blah Blah...."
To make a long story much shorter, we talked for a portion of the show....it was nice, and we had a good time. She was a very nice and down to earth person.
After Ashley left, they switched some of us up a little for purposes of our own sanity, continuity, and to fill in some other empty seats and get me moving and such....which was nice and fun. So when you watch for me on the finale, I might be seen on the balcony, the right side of the theatre, or in the seat next to Ashley (if it wasn't the pickup shots they did with her earlier in the morning or later in the evening when I wasn't there or was in the bathroom...but this is Disney + Editing 'MAGIC', so for all we know, they might turn me into Zac Efron.) I'll be very curious to see if I'm in the final cut, and if so, where I am and who I'm next to....
That's all for now! (but frankly all the excitement I need for a while!)

Editing Progress
Are YOU Smarter Than A 5th Grader?
Well, Gene Simmons (from KISS) isn't. But at least he got to the Million Dollar Question, which is impressive. (For more on this exciting story, you'll just have to wait and see the episode)
Today I took my film camp kids to see "Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader?". It was a pretty enjoyable time. The filming lasted about 3 hours for just one contestant...but both Gene Simmons and Jeff Foxworthy were very good and incredibly professional. The show kept moving the entire time...and I seriously think it is one of the better shoots I've been to.
Tomorrow is an exciting day! I'm going to be on BIG BROTHER 10!!!!!!!!!!!! Woohoo! I'm SO excited to be in the 2nd audience of the season...it's going to be great. So be sure to watch for me tomorrow night on CBS...I'll be wearing all black and smiling from ear to ear.
More to come soon!

Fun FYI
Just for fun, in case you are curious...
ABC will be re-airing KYLE OLSON'S episode of America's Funniest Home Videos tomorrow night in primetime. Okay, so it's not my episode...but I do get about 3 seconds of fame in the first 10-15 minutes.
This will be airing just before the new series: "High School Musical - Get in the picture" premieres. (Which I have tickets to the season finale of...among MANY other things....see the side right bar for more details).

Update
Hello, again everyone! It’s been a little while since I’ve last updated my blog, but, as many of you know, I have a ‘thing’ against updating my Hollywood blog when I’m....not in Hollywood.
This past week that I was able to spend back home in Milwaukee, WI was a lot of fun. As many of you know, I had the chance to film my film thesis project and potential ‘pitchable pilot’, if I get lucky. I think the shoot was an outstanding sucess and I cannot thank my cast and crew enough for all their help and support. I’ll be uploading pictures in the near future that were taken on set....some are pretty awesome!
Outside of filming, I had a chance when I was back in the dairy land to do some other gigs (thank you craigslist), while also having a chance to hang out with some of my good friends that I still miss like crazy. As usual, it was nice to see everyone again.
My flight home was quite an interesting one. It seems as if every positive action was equally balanced with a negative re-action. Example:
Positive: Our flight from Milwaukee to Minneapolis was shorter than expected!
Negative: We ended up going to a different gate (A-1) because of it. (why is that a negative? see below.)
Positive: We had a much longer layover than expected....a nice chance to relax, use the bathroom, get a snack, shop in their massive mall-thing, and get to the gate.
Negative: The flight going to LAX was going out of gate G-13. FYI: That’s on the other flipping side of the airport.
Positive: We have much longer than expected to get there! And with the trains and such, this will be nothing!
Negative: The trains aren’t working.
Positive: I get to the gate with some time to spare, while still managing to fit in all my layover plans.
Negative: Our flight is having mechanical issues and is delayed.
Negative: The stores all closed so nobody could get things to eat or drink during the delay
Positive: Our flight was changed to a new aircraft! We are able to take off right away! Well....almost.....
Negative: The plane we were switched to was departing from gate A-1.
Story of my freckin’ life...
